Rossi will be happy with the outcome, and I am sure the knowledge that Lorenzo had dumped it and was going to fail to acore any points would have greatly influenced his ride.
He now goes to Sepang, with two GPs to go, with a 38 point lead. With 25 points for the win, even a DNF for Rossi and a win for Lorenzo at Sepang would still lreave Rossi with a 13 point lead going into the final GP of the year. A midfield result in either race will seal the 7th Championship for Rossi.

Kallio kept himself upright for once
Solid 9th on a less than impressive bike.
I enjoyed the race but if Rossi didn't have to think of the title, I can't help but think we would have seen a more epic last few laps.

EB i have been thinking about this for ages... with our buddies back on AMF and even in the old days of the RPM forum, nobody seamed to give a toss about the worlds most exciting form of road racing
there is passing galore, stacks and u can see the attitude of the bikes and racers
whats more is the races only go for 45 min and they are supported by seriously tight, borderline insane categories
another interesting thing to note and i wonder if anyone else out there has found this... but when iv tried getting girlfriends interested in motorsport they seam to find F1, v8s, drag racing
thats saying something
"Life's a Drag..."

I've been watching more and more of the races this year (thank you Mr Insomnia!), and agree that it's a great category. But my opinions are somewhat limited, beyond "homg Nicky Hayden is hooooooooooooot"

I watch every race. Well so far this year.
Unlike with my F1, I think I'd willfully miss a race if I was tired and it was in America or somewhere else with a weird time zone.
