I really think that one of the reasons why I have lost interest in the V8s is because they spend so much time looking for action with the cameras that they end up showing all the mid field battles while the leaders are forgotten about. Each to their own, but I don't really care who comes 15th or 16th either - I like to follow the cars at the front. A bit of mid field action is good, but the way they cover it these days is too much like NASCAR to me.

I'm probably on my own here, but I think a race with just 2 or 3 cars can be better than one with 50 cars.

Another break? Havent they already had a few of them? It seems that the calender is all over the place, some rounds compressed together and then too many long gaps. Its too difficult to keep tabs on it the way it is, and seems to lose momentum somehow.

Most of the calendar's been better this year in terms of breaks. I think it was 2008 or 2009 with huge breaks early in the year, which was just as bad.

Don't forget the WA round was cancelled, which left an unintentional gap.
