I have recently started a new 'On this day' thread, in the History section, basically a place to record anniversaries of all things Motorsport, for members to add their own tributes or comments.
Today June 2nd is a day I recall well back in 1970, when we lost one of the very greats names of Motorsport, indeed one that today has become one of the biggest names there is in the sport, Bruce McLaren, in a testing accident.
As such, and knowing we have several members who are Team McLaren fans I have added a fairly detailed tribute with pics to the man who started the legend....
